Kenwood gives you a whole way to interface with your music files. The KDC-MP632U has a USB port to connect a memory card reader or thumb drive full of your favorite tunes. This Kenwood detachable faceplate deck plays MP3, WMA, and AAC (iTunes) files while adding a little spice to your plain ol' dashboard. The KDC-MP632U plays just about any music file type, has CD changer controls, and includes Kenwood's exclusive System Q equalizer with 5 factory presets (Rock, Pop/Top 40, Jazz, Easy, plus Flat). ACDrive (Advanced Codec Drive) makes management of those music audio files simple. ACDrive includes PMM (Phatnoise Media Manager) software for file editing, ripping, playlist management, and much more. With ACDrive and PMM, your KDC-MP632U can read back voice indexed file information while you browse your favorite tunes! Proprietary Supreme signal processing enhances the sound quality of compressed music files by restoring lost high frequencies. The KDC-MP632U is also iPod and satellite radio ready (extra equipment required, available separately). The large FL (fluorescent) display shows you all the important operating functions, and is easy on the eyes with its 8-digit scrolling text readout. Operation is simple with the rotary encoder knob and jog control button. The CD section features scan, random, and repeat functions, as well as quad 1-bit D/A converters for unparalleled CD reproduction. Other features include front and selectable rear/subwoofer preamp outputs with System E's crossover system for adding outboard amplifiers, detachable faceplate, HD Radio ready, loudness control, auxiliary input (adapter required), and one-touch mute function. Comes complete with a wireless remote.
